How To Become A Billionaire: Piece Of Advice From Warren Buffett
2. Marry the right person
Buffett made his fortune through wise investment, yet his most crucial decision had nothing to do with money. Buffett considers marriage to be the most important decision in one’s life.
“You want to socialise with people who are similar to the type of person you want to be. “You’ll go in that path,” he stated in a conversation with Bill Gates in 2017. “And by far the most important person in that regard is your spouse. I cannot underscore how critical this is.”
You want to associate with people who are the kind of person you’d like to be.
Buffett married his longtime friend Astrid Menks in 2006, following the death of his first wife, Susan Buffett, in 2004.
He’s been offering this advise for years. “Marry the appropriate person,” he said at the 2009 Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting. That’s something I’m serious about. It will have a greater impact on your life. It will alter your goals and desires in a variety of ways.”
